ACF District 4
States: FL, GA, NC, SC, VA, WV
The A.C.F. was originally organized into ten
geographical districts, each of which is headed by a District Manager.
The
States are grouped into Districts which sponsor and promote tournaments as
follows:

In recent years ACF reduced the 10 Districts to 9 by regrouped Texas into District 8; however, District 4 and all others remains as above.
Since its formation in 1948 the American Checker Federation has sponsored an American Championship Tournament every two years, and more recently alternating between GAYP in odd years and 3-Move Restriction in even years. In addition, the organization has promoted World Title Matches, Mail Play, Regional, State and local tournaments, and in 1973 the A.C.F. and the English Draughts Association jointly promoted the Third International Match. The Eight International Match was held in Las Vegas, NV September 26-30th, 2005.
